This is how the format of the auction will be. Copy and paste the format and add the needed text to it for your auction. If your auction format is not like this, it will be deleted.
Topic name of Auction: ( the name of the item or service )
Body of text:
Selling (Item or Service): (A service example would be picking weeds, and an item example would be chair)
Price: (Enter the Number of Bells like this: 100 Bells)
Auction Ends: ( Once you make the end date DO NOT change the end date )
Buy Out: ( Either enter auction ends:, or Buy out. Buy out is when members do not have to bid, but the first person to bid, or buy out gets it. You could also put both Auction Ends:, and Buy Out, to your auction. This way members could bid, or buy out the item/service)
DO NOT COPY THE TEXT THAT IS IN ( )'s TO YOUR AUCTION.
Rules for creating auctions:
The Price that you enter is the starting price, and if someone bids higher, the price changes to that much. Once the auction ends date happens, the person who bid the most wins.
If you decide to make your auction have an end date AND a buy out, keep the same format EXCEPT for the Auction Ends and Buy Out. Change it to this:
Auction Ends: ( Date the auction ends )
Buy Out: Yes
When you put Buy Out: Yes, it lets the members who view the auction know they can buy it out.
Everyone is able to tell the bidder who bids the most by posts. If you decide to buy out an auction, create a post on the Auction saying Buy Out, ONLY if there wasn't a post before yours stating they bought it out.
ONCE AN AUCTION IS BOUGHT OUT OR HAS ENDED, THE TOPIC FOR THE AUCTION IS DELETED FOR LESS CONFUSION.
IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU PLACE YOUR NAME, TOWN NAME, AND YOUR FRIEND CODE IN YOUR SIGNATURE.
Auction Terms may be updated if needed.
